Valentine's grandfather always said getting old sucks, but the good thing is that you only have to do it once. However he forgot to mention that it was the journey that was hell and not the actual destination. Her first year of college is already hard enough, but adding in the factors of her high school's bad boy who, oddly enough becomes her friend and a best friend who is in love with the bad boy makes the trek even worse. Valentine is just trying to take in all the changes and get settle in, but life is ever changing and simply growing up doesn't seem so simple any more.

"What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her.
