Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. Nobody has the same tattoo as they reflected the person's personality. They could be similar, but they are never duplicated. Depending on the person's soulmates mood, the colour of the tattoo changes. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. Please do not directly steal my ideas, like the tattoos for example because I made them up entirely on my own. This short story is a complete work of fiction inspired by some other soulmate stories that I've read over time.
