She stared into the deep chocolate eyes of the man before her. "What do you want?" She asked with a slight roll of her eyes. "I think the question you mean to ask is what do you want" he said with a calm expression on his face. He sat back in the booth of the cafe that Zariah had decided to entertain her unwelcome guest at and peered into her eyes as if he was trying to look into her soul. "I want the truth no more lies" she said barely above a whisper as she tried to keep herself from crying. "And you will get that, soon my love" And without another word the man stood up, he then slapped two twenty dollar bills on the table and walked out of the cafe. Stuck where she started at Zariah lied her head in her hands trying to contain the tears that threatened to poor out of her eyes. She was tired of living this deceiving LYFE.

Run away

"can you tell me what you saw last night, sweetheart?" the man sat uncomfortably on the chair holding a clipboard. his eyes were as black as night, digging into every hidey hole her body is able to carry. too weak to even open her mouth she just sat and watched him stare at her waiting for her to speak but he knew that this was normal... when a father turns on his own family in the middle of the night, she wouldn't open her mouth even if she was threatened... again. the walls of the broken little girl had been sealed shut and what lays behind it are her dark unspoken thoughts of truth. "this will be over quicker if you would speak and explain to me what you feel. I know it might be hard right now... and I'm not promising that you will heal completely, but I will promise you that I will help you through all the recovery you are capable of. you just have to let me in now, your father... we are trying to find him, we need you to help so he can't hurt anyone else."
