I close my eyes, and wait for death to come. While I know I will wake up in my cell the next morning, cold and miserable, it is the stability of my situation that comforts me. *** Aurora is a Regenerative, a girl who can live and breath in water and will always come back to the world around her. The only thing is, the Council uses Regeneratives as punishment to those who have committed crimes against them. Through a glass box, each lie strikes her and brings her down, slowly giving pain to the Offender being accused. Each Trial brings another death for Aurora, and the pain of losing someone dear to the Offender. Aurora is enslaved to the Council for life, but is that really the truth? "The Truth" is a novel about living a life of lies and setting others free from the falsehoods she has lived through, bringing everyone back to reality. *note: has not been edited...you have been warned*

Michelle doesn't want to think about her parents divorce. No more, then she already has. Michelle swears she will never let herself forget what her father did to both her and her mother. He left them, for someone else. So, Michelle starts to believe, that love can never last. It's also Michelle's senior year of high school. Michelle plans to focus on hanging out with her three best friends, staying out of trouble (if that's possible), not thinking about her father or his new wife, and actually trying to keep up in her classes. What happens when sometimes her temper gets the better of her? Or, what about her new Physics teacher? Is he really that nice, and all... or is there another side to him? Will Michelle ever start believing in love again? Or will her heart ache just at the end? Looks like Michelle's crystal clear plansbfor senior year aren't so, crystal clear after all. It's about to get pretty complicated.
