Kisarah Rebecca is the daughter of the Ruler of the Dark World. She's climbed the ranks, becoming one of the first female Death Demons, an immortal being who leads humans to their untimely death and steals their souls. With 999 souls that she's cast away to the Dark World, she's closer to her desired promotion of Observer.
The last job she's been hired to carry out, before she can become an Observer is eighteen-year-old Zeth Porter. Zeth is every bit of bad boy he claims to be. After a horrid breakup with his girlfriend of two years, Zeth goes on an adventure that involves drinking, sex, and illegal activities. He is the perfect candidate to be thrown into the Dark World, rotting with the other millions of souls who earned their eternity living under the ruling of Melech.
Zeth will be Kisarah's longest job yet. Never before has she ever had to live in human form for more than one month. It's a true test of her strength and devotion to her father, Melech. The more she remains in human form, the more Kisarah learns about her father and the war between the Dark Angels and the Angels of Honor.
Will Kisarah be able to finish her duty or will something else prevent her from obtaining the one promotion she's waiting centuries to stand upon?
