The thieves have been waiting a long time for the perfect human, and Franklin Nitherlith was surely it. They need to show Franklin the reason humans exist-- the "why" for which they've spent millennia searching behind their very existence-- so that Franklin can show the rest of the human race.

"Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?"
