Lindsey Parker has always had her eyes set on her dream Uni, Midway College, all the way in America. Horses mean the world to her, they come before anything else. Why buy Uggs when you can get cowboy boots instead? Why get a new outfit when the money can be spent on a bridle?

Why find a cowboy when the only guy you need in life is your gelding?

Or so she thought.

The summer before she leaves for campus, Lindsey stumbles across the blond Irish boy that just settled in at White Creek Ranch, Niall Horan. Oh, and he just happens to be in the largest boy band on planet earth. The hoofbeats start to fade, and the thumping of her heart fills her ears. Will Lindsey turn back for Niall? Or will she pursue her dream as a student at Midway Equestrian College?

Olivia Allen is a college student who is studying abroad in London. Quickly after moving halfway across the world, her semester's focus shifts from her studies to a certain blonde boy she can't seem to stay away from. This book is a cute, romantic, and mature love story. It's definitely not AU - I tried to stay true to their lives as best as I could imagine. There's some build up, but it eventually gets very very smutty. Best rankings: 🥇 #niallhoran 🥇 #1dsmut 🥇 #niall 🥇 #horan 🥉 #niallsmut #9 #onedirection ... 2021 Update! I wrote this in 2014 & 2015 so in 2021 I polished it up a bit. The plot didn't change but I fixed some grammar and word choice. If you enjoy it, please keep the votes & comments coming! Rereaders, let me know if you notice anything I changed. But I truly hope nothing is noticeable! ... As a shameless advertising push (well not entirely, there's some shame) here are some of the sweetest comments ever on my story. I'm hoping they convince you to read it, especially because I think my writing improves a lot after the first few chapters but I worry that people don't get to where I really hit my stride before quitting on this story. So please stick with it and maybe you will agree with these kind readers: "LAST CHAPTER IM GOING TO CRY😭😭THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FAN FICS IVE EVER READ" "omg I absolutely loved it!!! I literally stayed up until my eyes couldn't stay open any longer reading this book!! You're an incredible writer and have written an amazing story <3" "THIS WAS SO AMAZING OMFG" "This truly is the most beautiful and sweet story I have ever read! You write so realistically! I love your style! I didn't want it to end! Loved every part!" "this would be the fifth time i have read this book love it every time" "❤️ I loved every minute of this story! Seemed almost true! Thanks for sharing your talent! ❤️" "This is the best story I have ever read. Thank you so much."

Summer '09 [Niall Horan fanfiction]

9 parts Complete

I only had one thing on my mind that summer. It was 2009 and I was a sophomore in high school. I would be at camp for two weeks - two glorious, family-free weeks - but it only took me a day to figure out that even though I loved every aspect, there was only one thing that was making my feet lift off the ground. This year was going to be different, and I was going to make it so. It was a ranch camp that I attended, which meant smelly barns and well-water and tasks involving shoveling horse poop, but I had been going since the summer before seventh grade and couldn't imagine doing anything different. In the summer of '09, though, everything took a giant twist in the form of a blonde-haired, sixteen-year-old boy who had come from Ireland to attend my camp. His name was Niall Horan.
