Ava, short for Avarielle, lives with a step-mom who hates her and two spoiled step-sisters. Sounds familiar, right? But there's no ball for this Cinderella to find a prince at. Instead, she, quite literally, runs into the most popular guy in school, John Thompson.
Ava just wants to get out of the hell that is her home life, and John just wants to escape his past. It seems like fate intervened when these two collided in the hallway between classes and help each other learn to live.
