Work In Progress is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States, and is generally about the new version of reality that the main characters have to face.

Desolate (under reconstruction)
The town of Hibbing, MN is under siege. But by an unlikely enemy. Genetically mutated humans, brought into the world by a mishap in the M.W.A.S (Mid West Association of Science), the science station within Hibbing's walls. An attempt to make a genetically modified human for military purposes, which would make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie. After killing all the scientists, it escapes into the city, throwing the large town in to full-blown apocalypse. It's up to 13 year old Hunter and his friends to save the town of Hibbing, and maybe bring things to the way they were. THIS STORY IS 3 YEARS OLD, AND IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION! 100 years into the future, biology has given way to a new humanoid race, the Supernaturals. However, survival for them isn't easy in a world where they are criminalized and oppressed. It's survival of the fittest, or rather, the smartest and most successful. And with a criminal underworld full of illegal Supernatural activity, things are bound to spiral out eventually. (This series has had a rocky start. I've rewritten it hundreds of times over and have finally found something to roll with. I'm happy with how the Pilot turned out and am excited to finally introduce this series. GLR is still in progress, don't worry, this is just one of my side-hustles.)Complete

For Gabriel Holloway, a poor kid from the ghettoes of Freetown, Sierre Leone, not much has changed since the arrival of the Consortium. That is until a new protest movement sweeps the country. The Consortium could do so much more for the poor and oppressed, if their own corrupt leaders would only stand aside and let them. But they won't. So they must be pushed aside, at whatever cost. Jake, an American boy, continues his job delivering supplies for the Consortium in North Africa. But it's a region increasingly torn apart by civil unrest and revolution. The poor want more help from the consortium. Local warlords and corrupt politicians want to keep their power. Jake has never experienced anything like it, being in the middle of a huge social upheaval. He has no clue what is going to happen, but he knows where he belongs, in the middle of it all.Complete
Unapologetic (LGBTQ+ Trans MxM)
"God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024. Don't worry, I did do research about being trans, but if you are a trans person, and there is anything you feel like isn't right or lacking in this story, feel free to let me know! I'm open for overal feedback so if you have to say anything about this story please let me know. I write these short stories to get better at writing and feedback will only help with that!
