After her parents received a job opportunity outside of the state, a young 9th-grade girl is forced to move schools. To start all over. She wasn't expecting it to be easy of course, she wasn't that stupid, but she also didn't expect the harsh glares in the hallways to be so powerful, so controlling of her. Even the teachers seemed to have some stored hatred, ready for use every time she raised her hand in class.
After a while, the dislike seemed to follow her everywhere she went. From the store to the simple act of walking down the street. Sometimes the source even sprouted from her own home. Eventually, the girls in her school found her social media pages, that's when things really started to pick up.
Just as she thought she couldn't take it anymore, someone comes to save her from herself. Someone she never expected. Will she accept the help, or will she finally give in to temptation?

This is my entry for the #Wonderthemovie contest. It was a challenge only being able to write 500 words, but it got there eventually. I hope you enjoy!

==WARNING== I wrote this a couple of years ago and it isn't well written. I am hoping to rewrite this but for now this will be up. Before you read this you should probably reconsider since the plot is cliche in the worst way possible, some scenes are hard to follow and lets not mention the multitude of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. Jessica and I change completely, from the nerds to the most popular girls in school. We learn to defend ourselves, how to be confident and we never let anyone step on us anymore. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. She collapses down in front of me and runs her hands along my shoulders and down my arms. I close my eyes as she lifts my shirt over my head. "I can hear your heart racing," she whispers. In the complicated jungle which we call high school one can find jocks, cheer leaders, Goths, nerds, athletes' etc. etc. and then there's me. Brittney Matthews. Her mom turns on her when her favourite person leaves town, and her life slowly starts losing meaning, and she can't think of anything that makes her happy, except being with her best friend. Then, she goes too... With nothing making her happy in her small town, she makes a life-changing decision, that she thinks will benifit her, and make her life all that she wanted. Or, it could go very wrong and be worse than staying where she is. "Dad, I want to live with you" I told him over the phone, in tears. Nothing new there. "Samantha, you know I'd love you too, but there isn't any school around this area, remember? My school is in the countryside, with nothing within a short driving dinstance" he all but rejected me. "Then can I move schools? Attend your boarding school?" He was silent, then let out a long sigh of defeat. "I'll enroll you now. Pack your things, I'll send a car in the morning for you." That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out.
