A Shade of Red is about a "18" year-old girl named, Charlie. She has spent over 2 centuries lifeless as a vampire. Finally after years of hiding, she decides to open up more and live her "life" as a normal, living 18 year-old would. As she takes her chance she bumps into the most gorgeous boy she's ever layed her eyes upon. As they become closer and closer, she soon comes to a situation where she's forced to tell him about herself being a vampire.
