Society has been destroyed by the outside forces that plague this world. The shadows possess our loved ones and turn them against their own kind. War was wages just to keep our planet save, but we still have found little ways to combat their kind. Not with the light now struggling to find pure souls with all of them tainted with blood from this war. We are fighting a battle we are going to lose. Our only hope is the next generation, Our children. We hope some of their souls can stay pure as the light continues to search for pure souls. I am very aware that we must protect this planet...but it's a lost cause. I only have three months along with a couple other of our best soldiers to prepare these children for anything...that's plenty of time but that isn't what i worry about. I worry that they will turn on one another, without any form of government, nothing is stopping them from doing to one another as they please...3 months may be enough to train them for what might be to come, but it is not enough to raise a government from the ground up. I hope they can at least figure that out.

Humans have evolved, fought wars, overcome the impossible and survived as a species, until now. Now that they question death and what comes after. The Misvan Gatu is an underground government controlled by an unknown force. It is their mission to find a cure for the death of a soul, not caring who they may destroy in the process. If the soul could be transferred then that human life could continue, couldn't it? And if there was a way of stopping death and harnessing the power of the human soul what else could we accomplish? The Burning Desire Within by Midnight_Lily

~I felt it, the burning desire that lingered inside me. i couldn't control it, I felt my wings become tattered and change to black, I felt my red eyes darken, my hair becoming a deep reddish black. I felt my canine teeth extend, long black claws forced from my fingers where my nails used to be, a long slithering black tail had protruded from behind, the black horns that punched through the skin at the top sides of my forehead. I saw my entire skin was black. I wanted to control it, to force it back, to hide it, but I didn't want to. It had once again taken control of me, my body, my mind. Pushing my conscious to the furthest of my mind where it was clouded by the darkness that was currently exposed.~ An angel, named SIlver Ember, is shunned by all of angel society except by a select few. Born with the colors of crimson red eyes and hair with a bronze colored skin tone, is looked at as an abomination. She lives a somewhat normal life with the exception of a horrible nightmare that haunts her dreams since she was a child until she hears a strange voice inside her mind. A voice as deadly as the plague itself. While trying to figure out what's wrong with her she is suddenly pulled into spending time with Bracen, the prince of angels. She also meets a beautiful and charming merman, named Leomaris, that would make any female's heart skip a beat. She has no idea what's happening to her or what she's becoming until she has an interesting discussion with her mother. Is Silver a special angel or not even one at all? Just because she has wings means nothing. Silver has quite the battle while she struggles with love, being accepted, and control of herself.

It rains, in fact if there is any precipitation, powers are zapped away, which is a burden to all the "powered" people. The Domi Society, the most influential government of the world, force groups of people to eradicate or kidnap objects of interest, every year. If individuals refuse they die along with everyone they are associated with. Corrupt, but there are worse groups out there, in this dystopian world, people are grateful with what they already have so don't retaliate. However the Society desires something different,this year, from a group of misfits that must be civil to each other, in order to stay alive.They have to hunt and kidnap something else, something, so innocent and fragile that shouldn't be taken against their will. What is this? Why do the Domi Society specifically hunger this? Will the group meet the deadline before the three months are up or have to face the harsh penalties that will be enforced upon them? Their actions can only decide the consequences of their manipulated lives. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. Escaping the Monster's Embrace by Mentally-Insane

Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. Between the journal and Kira's nightmarish dreams, she doesn't know which scares her more. Since then, magical powers were born and the royal side of the Alliance saw this group as a threat to humanity and called them witches. In order to overcome the extinction of humanity, the leadership of the Alliance created the order of the Witch Hunt to find and kill every witch no matter what they look like. Due to the order, witches rebelled to protect themselves and their loved ones until a civil war broke out. Due to the war, many lives were lost and many witches were enveloped in darkness and turned into demons. Since that day, the human race has suffered greatly. The Alliance and wizards alike consider them a threat. The hatred and revenge between them still remains to this day. With so many chains of hatred, can all humans be reunited? Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards.
