Moving to Arizona, Sage Alexander thought it would be the last move her family would ever make in her life growing up as she has settled down and now attending college at Arizona State. The six years she's been there have been peaceful and worry free of her father who's in prison back in her homestate of Washington. After twenty years, he's finally free and hungry to go after the family after the incident that landed him in jail the first time, seeking revenge. Sage's mother and Uncle Ron's last resort is to send her out of the States up into Canada to stay with the Hamilton's, a close family friend of her mother's. Sage only fears that her whole family drama is going to get people she loved and was very close to killed. She didn't stay in Canada that long as the youngest son of the Hamilton's, Dougie who's a hockey player for the Boston Bruins offers to take her under his wing.
