North moved in with her dad after years of growing up with her mom. There's a catch, her dad lives in Barrow, Alaska. Far from sunny California. Being the new girl at the school, she doesn't make any friends. Instead she ends up getting herself into trouble most of the time.

Christian, an outcast in the school for years. He doesn't mind not having any friends. He likes being alone. When North comes along he hates her because she doesn't stay away from him. He thinks avoiding another peer will be easy, but no matter how much he tries they keep bumping into each other.
 
When North bites of more then she can chew. Will he stop North from being frost bitten? Even though it could mean breaking all of the rules and risking everything he has worked to keep a secret?
