One must mine for ores and gems to survive, Building machines on the way. He must go through hardships. Crossing vast oceans, travelling through Hell and returning intact, and traveling to the ends of the earth to find more of these life-sustaining ores.
Follow the travels of one Man who meets the other survivors. Learn the history of the world filled with a small population of humans. Find out why these materials are needed to preserve the precious sapling of life. Do not forget your pickaxe as you follow into the mines from which there is no return....

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. This grinding mill of sharp edges' food is lifeless bodies, living spirits, living bodies and dead souls, it leaves no one at all. No one can stop the eternal 'New Journey' of this sharp grinding mill. This mill knows how to break the strong person like stones into pieces, then makes him new man and again breaks into small piecesand particles and ultimately leading this broken man on the 'Journey of Hope' and 'Journey of Fear'. This broken man if ever tries to take help from someone to ease himself out and make his travel shorter in his 'Interminable Journey' with any one's help then this effort takes him to the life threatening 'Journey of Wadeen' and that helper with his tearful eyes also remain nonplussed and exhausted. Somehow if someone wants to go on the 'Everlasting Journey' then he begins to get going on the 'Journey of Eternity' while the 'Journey of Infinity's attacks as of the grinding mill of time will remain continued for ever and ever. "I can't lose you like I've lost everyone else" I say, something inside of him clicks and his eyes turn angry "You have no idea what loss is" he says through clenched teeth. Riley dies not even a day later, but Ellie doesn't which confuses her. She goes to her mother's friend Marlene who helps her out by taking her to two smugglers, Joel and Tess, who are instructed to take her to a group of Fireflies who can reverse engineer a cure for the infected. Joel is in his late 40's, he was there when the apocalypse started and has suffered ever since, until he meets Ellie and his entire perspective on life changes. He finds that over time he begins to have feelings for Ellie, he wants to protect her and shelter her from this horrible life. Can Ellie and Joel save the world? This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent?
