They all stared at me like I had two heads. 

"I'm sorry, I'm looking for the talent room. Can someone tell me where that is?" I asked, holding out the paper the lady in the office gave me. 

The blonde one took the paper, reading over it while he said, "This is the talent room." His brows turned down to a frown. "Dance?" I nodded.

The one with brown hair smiled and sat on a desk. "So you dance? Sounds pretty classy."

When everything got to be too much, Hazeline left. She didn't want anything to do with the past she'd left behind, nor did she care if anyone missed her. Her friends had been mean, her Dad put too much pressure on her, and that guy she "fell in love" with, had told everyone she was easy. 

So with what was left of her broken self, she ran away. 

New school, new life, even a new name.
