In New York City, or Gotham, a certain cat roams the dark alleys. Ever since her ninth birthday, she had been living on her own, only having a unused dumpster to call home. This girl's name is Katie, Katie Mason. Why does she live on the streets and not in a actual home you may ask? Well, it is the fear of being rejected by people because of her appearance and biology. Having cat ears and a tail, not to mention the fact of possessing powers similar to the Cheshire cat, seem to bring negativity to this young one's life.
