"Hi. You two boys didn't seem to get the chance to be introduced. I'm Connie Moreau, by the way." She smiled sweetly, holding her stick and helmet in the same hand. She took a step back on her skates. The two wore the exact same yellow and black jerseys, with their names on the back of 'Garrett' and 'Elliott'. They didn't like using their last name because there was two of them and they played for the same team. Besides, they wanted to be different. So, they stuck with their first names. Garrett's jersey had a 'C' on the top corner while Elliott's didn't. Elliott grew a little offender by the remark of 'two boys' because she wasn't a boy. "Elliott." She told her. She nodded and looked at Garrett, the two twins still wearing their helmets, prepared to play. "Garrett Caldwell." He replied. Elliott and Garrett Bombay have known their father their entire lives. Now that the Junior Goodwill Games are in need of candidates, Bombay's son and daughter fill in two empty slots. Together, the two keep their identity close by and a secret. As they learn the tactics and gimmicks of the Ducks, Elliott and Garrett realize there's more than hockey. After the recent passing of their mother, who was their caretaker and beloved guardian, Gordon must now take in his two kids and raise them like the dad he was always intended to be. After becoming close with the team, the secret gets out when one of the team members find it suspicious how the Twins are different and that Garrett is a spitting image of his father. When he questions them, one of the twins decides to tell him a little more about it. With this player knowing the secret, he keeps it secret and has the urge to tell everyone, but will he? #1 in MightyDucks 23/10/19 #1 in CoachBombay 23/10/19

(Formally Titled: Sophomore Year: No More J.V - Mighty Ducks [CHADAM]) Marked as "mature" according to the guidelines, as this book contains swearing, minor violence, and mentions of abuse. Trigger warnings are further down. The Ducks were going into their second year at Eden Hall. Some were excited, some nervous, and some didn't really care that much. Ken was glad he'd survived... And Goldberg was Goldberg. Surprisingly (at Coach Orion's demand) they'd actually practiced over the summer, so hockey wasn't one of their worries. Well, at least most of them did. Goldberg was still Goldberg. Charlie and Linda had broken up over the break because Linda had figured out his secret. She was supportive of him, though, and they remained friends. Guy and Connie were still going strong and Gordon was around as much as he could be with his job, so he and Ms. M'Kay were... complicated. He always made sure to make time to come to as many of the Duck's games as possible, hoping she'd be there too. But not everything was sunshine and rainbows... especially some of the team's home life. What was to come? Could they survive another year at Eden Hall? Could their FRIENDSHIPS survive another year at Eden Hall? SHIPS: ConniexGuy, CharliexAdam, FultonxDean, GordanxMcKay, LuisxMindy, & LuisxKenny (This will be mainly CharliexAdam) TW's: Gore (not too terrible, though), anxiety, mentions of physical abuse, swearing/language If I missed any triggers, please make sure to let me know. In which Coach Bombay must do community service for his DUI. He starts coaching the Ducks and when he realizes that he's missing three members for the Ducks. He recruits them by going to the Hawks' team, grabbing Adam Banks, Brittney and Mattie-Rae Bombay who join the team or else they forfeit. With three new extraordinary players, Bombay knows that his team will make it exceptionally far, especially now that he knows how good his daughters play well together. Upon arriving, Mattie-Rae dislikes Charlie while Brittney has always detested Adam. No one knows which twin is which, it's practically impossible to tell each other apart. In the end, they learn to figure out who is who. Some fantastic friendships are born and others fade rapidly.
