In a current apocalyptic world a girl called Rena who is locked up for being different and committing a murder she didn't mean to do. She appears to be a normal girl but on the inside she is deadly. Her touch is lethal. She has been locked up for 324 days and has only had human contact with soldiers and the person who slips her food through her slot in the door. That's until she meets Abilenel. A young girl trapped and is expected to have the same fate as Rena. That is before Rena devises a plan to get them both out of there and to find her brother and family but fate has other things in store for both of them. 

I got the idea for this story but the book 'Shatter me' by Tahereh Mafi.
