When Katra was six years old her father married her to Arne. She grew up knowing his name and having flashes of him in her memories. Now he is back and ready to claim the child he left.   Arne had returned from making new trade. His child bride is now grown and it is time to claim his bur. When Arne rides into the courtyard he is surprised to see the young child who showed promise of beauty grown into more then he thought could ever be.   Arne is Jarl ready to claim his bride.
