Nine years after Louis is recruited to be a Lumineer, a bounty hunter for the heavenly sanctum of angels, he receives an assignment that transcends all his previous missions. An ex-criminal by nature, Louis is damn good at his job, and the holy council knows it. As a consequence, Louis is sent out to find out that one of the council members had a bastard son. And it's Louis' new duty to cut off that blood line. 

Only one problem. The only lead they have is a name, a picture from 9 years ago, and his last known location.

To make things more interesting, instead of receiving a nice fat stack of cash, Louis is to be rewarded his life upon the murderer's sentence. With a bounty that high, Louis' willing to shove a dagger into some pretty angel's throat himself. 

But, as he makes a promise with Liam not to get attached to anyone, he finds himself doing exactly that. With Harry Styles of all people. The campus slut.

And turns out this Harry character has a secret.
