"What happened here?" the cop asked.
"Arson. A lit cigarette in the gas tank of the owner's car."
The cop's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. "Can you tell me who did it?"
"I can, but don't bother looking for her."
"Why? Can you tell us where she is?"
In answer, Harry pointed at the smouldering wreckage.

Exactly twenty-three minutes after Harry informed the police of Krista's death, a white envelope was slipped through the mail slit on Sky Lee's door, fifty kilometers away. The date was printed across the top in Roman numerals, and Sky's name was scrawled below it. There was no return address.
