Magnus's mom was tired of his partying, his drinking, and his constant bad decisions. For her the only choice she had was to send him to a faraway boarding school in New England, The Idris boarding Academy a rather overly pretentious academy located in Idris, New England. Its no where even near Magnus's usual life, but then again he's always wanted to try new things...or new people. Sadly the past doesn't seem to want to stay forgotten and with crazed stalkers on the loose it appears as if the years going to be anything but extraordinary.

He has been worried about him for a while now and it's not until Alec doesn't show up at school that he doesn't act up on his suspicions, about what's truly going on in Alec's life. This fanfic implies abuse and bullying but it isn't explicit. The bullying is only referenced but the abuse is something they'll talk about a lot. This fanfic also implies a teacher-student relationship, so if this is something you don't like, don't read this story. It's Friday the 13th. Magnus is late for work. Again because of his cat. He's locking up his apartment when he gets a phone call that he's been fired.
