Immortality sucks. I couldn't choose it. The government controls us all, we can't even reproduce anymore. For sick entertainment they put a timer up, broadcasting live to the whole world all day every day. We all gathered together to watch the timer end. We all counted down. I stopped thinking it was a joke when the clock restarted. That's when the world went to hell.

The Horde

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. Disclaimer- Any similarities to other stories or films is purely accidental and not done intentionally. Obviously, I adopted the idea of zombies and do not claim to have created them.
