This simple novel follows the tale of inhabitants of the new world. Civilization has made a turn for the worst. How the hell does a monarchy and a democracy manage to work in sync? Easy. They don't. No such thing. Yet here we are, with a president and a queen and king. And a lot of angry citizens.
Sigmund Law is one of them, yet he has something that sets him apart. Roberta Ward is in the same boat, with billions of others just trying to survive. Simone Isolda, other wise known as President Simone, seems to be the only non corrupt official around. Neriah Begin does his best to survive, that requires joining a group that rebels against society in every way. Marina Gomes is an ordinary teen in this time, except for the slight fact of being the Vice President's daughter and future wife to Prince Marco. Marco Albescu is, you guessed it, Prince of this whole crappy world, and he has no intention on running it.

Too bad she's an inconvenience and quite frankly, to them, not wanted. This is a mature, slow-burn romance with multiple lovers the main character doesn't have to choose between.
