Cinderella never asked for a prince. She asked for a night off and a dress.

Elena Reed did the same, except she secretly did want him. The long lasting game of glances and timid smiles between them only sent her heart racing a mile further. But he was out of her league. She'd have to work with all her might to make things happen.

But with his fame attracting the paparazzi, and the engagement ring on her finger from another man, would her hopes crash down like a failed house of cards?

Elton James is a busy man with no time for fun. He's given up on any thought of a future, and plans to work until he dies. Then a strange letter of resignation comes in from his secretary, and Elton soon finds out that she'd be replaced with a Ms. Elena Reed.

He couldn't recall anyone with the name, but he felt that he knew much more than he was willing to admit.
