While meditating in a cave, a teenager questioning the meaning of life finds a curious amulet. But as he was holding it, he could hear voices. The voices said "Beyond the pillars, danger awaits". He freaked out and dropped the amulet. He picked it up again but the voices vanished.
Years later, while he was a student at the University of Stockholm, he remembered his encounter with that weird amulet. And after having completely forgotten its existence, he decided to go look for it at his parents' house. And there it was, in a drawer in his old bedroom.

Crossing Into Forever
In the darkness of her dreams, she saw herself standing at a window looking down below, only to see a misting, swirling fog. She could not see the ground and did not know how far down it was.
