Winters Warmth

Many believe that gods are in control of every aspect of the world. From the seasons, the animals, the afterlife, etc. a small town near the mountains has a local legend. There is a god of winter, who calls the forest his home during the cold months. He appears as a wolf, but also a man of war and tail. Legend tells that depending on what a family who lives in the mountains sacrifices to the wolf, the weather will be calm and warm or cold and dreadful. This family has been giving sacrifices for generations and it is told that the earliest known ancestor Once spoke to this wolf, thus beginning the sacrifices and may have been friends with this wolf. The woods this wolf lives in are dangerous, and it is said if you wander into them the wolf will become angry and attack you. But like the snow, once winter ends, the wolf vanishes.
