Mempunyai banyak harapan ternyata tak mempermudah seseorang menghadapi kerasnya kehidupan. Devan Faisal Assyraaf  belajar menguatkan hatinya sebagai anak yang di benci oleh ayah kandungnya sendiri karena Hasan berfikir dia penyebab istrinya meninggal saat melahirkan putra keduanya itu. Hasan Assyraaf hanya menyayangi serta peduli pada anak pertamanya Julian Rafif Assyraaf yang menjadi putra kebanggaan sekaligus penerusnya kelak. Devan yang selama 17 tahun tinggal bersama neneknya di German harus kembali ke Indonesia karena permintan Sang kakak.
