Of the four Hogwarts founders, it wasn't only Salazar Slytherin or Helga Hufflepuff who would start a family to survive through the generations. The only difference was that the Gryffindor's never fell from glory. They stayed at the forefront of the wizarding world, known as the most powerful and influential family alive. That is, until they were all murdered in the dead of night by Voldemort himself, leaving only Aeliana Gryffindor to carry the weight of her family's name.
