She & He

She has a mother that never spoke more than ten words to her daily, a father who does not seem to appreciate her presence and elder two brothers who are more than willing to see her being knocked over by a speeding truck. She used to have the spotlight on her, people watched as she sashayed through the school, but now, no one notices her. Her grades are never too bad and yet her father was never one to compliment, but one who ask for more. Greed that is what it is. At least, it is in her eyes. Her friends said that they will stand by her no matter what, but when times get tough, they left. Leaving her learning never to trust again. Never was she one who pinned on having a Prince Charming to swipe her off her feet. Yet, when she met him, everything changed.

He has it all. The amount of money that could last him for a millennium. The spotlight that shines so brightly on him. The looks that every single male would be envy of. Having different women warm his bed every week. This is the best his life could ever get. Or that’s what he thought, until he met her.
