Orphaned at eight, Alana Morales has been living in misery since the death of her father. She was left with her abusive stepmother and spoiled step sister who made sure that every day of her life would be a living hell. School was no different. She was bullied constantly because of her freaky deep cerulean eyes. It seemed like her life has nothing good in it. Alana decided to end her life. She would jump off the cliff with hopes of drowning but she did not expect to see herself thousands of feet underwater in a kingdom under the sea. She woke up, only to see the most alluring and handsome creature she had ever laid eyes on - Poseidon, the god of the seas. Poseidon was alone. Thousands of years had passed and yet, he had no luck in finding a bride. He then made a decision that will change his immortal life forever. If he could not find his bride in the seas, then he would find her in land. He disguises himself as a human and goes to a quest to chase his destiny - the girl he saved from drowning.

3. Why We Can't Rush Things Little Gorgon. That's what Cairu calls her. It perfectly suits; not just her name, but also her personality. She was named after the famous oppressed beauty in Greek mythology, Medusa. He doesn't like young ladies. Never in his life thought of having one. But she came over unannounced. Crushing over his parade, flocking her way to his heart like the goddess who wants to be worshipped by its servant, breaking his walls with all her might and showering sunshine to his lonely life. But when he thought that everything would last into lifetime, a past tied to their names resurfaced. She left when everything was all planned out inside his head. She broke his walls and left without cleaning it, causing him to bruise over the tiny pieces of her remains. Aching for his stolen heart, he never wished to have it again if it means he has to deal with her mercilessly putting it back in unanesthesiatized and still, he would love to accept it like a devoted worshipper.
