In the world of drugs there are four kinds of people.
THE DRUG DEALER: Often providing the drug for a hefty cost and in most cases doing the same drugs themselves.
THE DRUG USER: Taking drugs and doing close to anything to get a fix.
THE "FRIENDS": The friends who are only around for the drugs. The ones who simply disappear when you run out of the fine white powders.
Then there is THE ONLOOKERS. They see you drugging out and decide not to help you. Even if they are perfectly able to.
There is the little known fifth party the "Rehabilitator" they do all in their power to help you overcome the addiction.
I Jahovah Micheals helped Raquel Young overcome her addiction to drugs.

Altered
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. Many of us are not happy about ourselves, something we have done or not done, or the way we react to other people. We keep recycling sad thoughts until they become what we are. We can break this cycle . . . we really can choose to be happy. For most people being happy is not difficult but it does require persistence to undo the habits of a life time. There are many simple techniques to promote happiness. Some of them you probably heard from your grandmother . . . but there are other, less obvious ways. The brain makes up about 2 percent of a human's body weight, uses 20% of the oxygen consumed by the body and . . . is often not under our control. Proof? Try counting slowly with your eyes closed in a quiet place. How far did you get before you lost count and started thinking about something else? Many people can't make it past ten. Drugs are not the answer. Why risk addiction while destroying your lungs and your brain with alcohol, nicotine (smoking tobacco or vaping), cannabis (marijuana), opium derived drugs like Oxycontin or other unnecessary and unhealthy chemicals? If you need to dispel a bad mood, use one or more meditation techniques, evolution's natural way to obtain happiness. He used to be one of TV's most beloved actors. He had the good looks, played the golden boy characters and had the voice that millions would be jealous of. He was in the spotlight and talked about daily, until one day he just wasn't. He just seemed to disappear, and with everything else going on, the mystery of where he went faded quickly, Hollywood moved on. I was one of those that didn't follow all of the Hollywood drama, but I knew who he was; everyone did. I never thought I would see his face on magazines again, and I never once thought that Hollywood's golden boy would be sitting in front of me with lifeless eyes and an attitude that warned you not to approach him. I never expected to meet him in person ever, but the last place I would ever expect to see him would be Rehab. In here no one cared who you were, all that mattered was the addiction and the fact that we all knew at this point our lives have fallen apart. Some would be put back together, and some were destroyed beyond being fixed. Nothing ever prepared us for the addiction we would face, but even worse is no one and nothing can prepare you for the up's and down's and the trials you would face, the unexpected people you would connect with, the heartbreaking stories, the late night talks, the friends you would make and the friends you would lose. Nothing could prepare you for the horrors and happiness found here that you would be forced to live with for the rest of your life. -Let's get this straight. From a dead end job to a useless crazy ex boyfriend- my happiness is with my best friend yet the fear of our relationship ending completely scares me and id rather fake it and be in fear than find out and never be happy.
