      As a God Eater and a member of the Blood Special Forces, Yumi Sakibara was ready to start her life anew in the Friar Branch, although obtaining her new job was somehow against her will. She would soon face unexpected twists and sudden turns, and inevitable matters of life and death. As any other normal girl, she never wanted to join the frontlines defending humanity. All Yumi ever wanted was to stay with her family and live her life. 
 But a young man that Yumi met sitting amongst the flowers obliviously had the warmth to change the way she looked at life, and never had the lass expected that strange feelings would slowly but surely bloom in her world like the flowers in the gardens of Friar. Following this man, other people with different and colorful personalities will clash with her own. Will she be able to succeed as a defender of humanity?
