In a society where women are once treated like slaves, a lot have died to achieve equality again. And to secure the future, a treaty is established that divides the society into two -- men and women. Raised without influencing each other and away from their different views. But the race still needs to continue, hence the Annual Ball. Adilah is the pride of her pack, the embodiment of all the things the Equality pack holds. Living freely as the next Luna, she is contented with her life as it is. That is until she is set to turn 18 and is required to go to the Annual Ball in the hopes of finding her mate and create a successor which she can only hope is another female. Forced to participate in the dangerous rules of the past, Adilah must question whether the treaty that she is raised to cherish is as right as she is told to be.
