A Tears of the Kingdom alternative universe where Link fell through time with Zelda.

Based on Nintendo's fantastic game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, two young teenagers are tasked with saving the entire world. The challenge is that one of them doesn't know who she is. Link plucks Zelda from her world in normal, modern day Boston and brings her back home to the troubled, medieval Hyrule to take back her throne and stop evil.

The Kingdom of Hyrule is a land where its history is stained in blood. A legend that has lasted throughout time and a world filled with Wisdom, Power, and Courage. A legend of a Hero, and a Princess of Destiny and how their fates must cross in order to stop an evil man and his sought for Power. Now to a time when a King and his lovely daughter Zelda upkeep the throne. A time of peace, a time when evil seemed not to exist. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. There will be a few POV swaps but let's see if I can make this a cohesive story.

This is the story of Link and Zelda and their travels together before the Great Calamity hit. It's the story of their relationship and adventures, some which are seen in Link's recovered memories. Also, it's an AU where Zelink is actually like..... a thing before the Calamity. {Breath of the Wild Zelink; lots of spoilers} I do not own The Legend of Zelda, it belongs to Nintendo Cover art is mine!

Stuck in her castle, Zelda wants to be free to explore the world. She knows it is dangerous, at least that's all she was ever told, but she wants to be like every other girl. She knows that will never be possible now but there is always hope. So when she meets Link, an aspiring Knight, she listens to his stories and feels much closer to the rest of the world.
