This story may or may not be short, depending what I want to add. I am also not the best author out there, but I still hope you will enjoy my story as much as I did making it. If this does become a long story, note that I am a procrastinator, even so, I will do my best to push myself to finish. I have another X Reader story that I gave up on, if you want to read it, go ahead.

A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. Excerpt below. **************** "Even if we experience a thousand different futures, I'd still probably fall in love with you, over and over again," he whispered, taking his last breath. His head felt heavy in her hands. Marinette inhaled sharply, feeling the pain in her chest. This can't be real. The air was thick with smoke and the atmosphere glowed orange. "You can't leave, Félix. I can't do this without you," she whispered as tears welled in her eyes. Alya and Nino hadn't come out of the building yet, and Marinette feared the worst. Tears began to spill out, streaming down her face. "I need to take your memories, Marinette," Time Capsule said. "Let's make sure none of the other versions of ourselves have to live through this future." Marinette nodded and let her extract her memories. Only Human: A Miraculous LadyBug Fanfiction
Chat Noir's one desire is to protect and assist his lady, even when it means putting his own life in jeopardy. Marinette's deepest fears come true when his ride or die sentiment leaves him cold at her feet. Ashamed and guilt-ridden, she turns her miraculous in to Master Fu and asks him to find someone else for the job, but something far more sinister is brewing, and with no LadyBug to come to the rescue, who will Paris, and more importantly, Chat Noir, turn to to save them in their time of need? Written over the course of only a few days, this is a short story that I don't plan on lengthening into a full length tale. I also don't plan on editing unless requested repeatedly. The cold night air made Marinette shiver and cuddle into the red scarf that wrapped around her neck. She looked at the bright lights of Paris, of her city. A city of love. A city of light and happiness. Yet she had none. She clenched the charm Adrien had given her what felt like so long ago. He was all that was left. Everyone had left her. Her parents were disappointed in her. Her friends were angry. She heard the flapping wings of an Akuma and closed her eyes. However, due to lack of proper parental guidance, he doesn't know if he can talk to her or if it'll break the magic somehow. Both Adrien and Marinette are very happy with their soul mates.
