Awakening

Nix always hid her strange powers in fear of being labeled schizophrenic. The last time someone talked to her telepathically was when she was around the age of six. Her mother threw a fit. She had the doctor appointments almost everyday until Nix finally stopped talking about it.
When Nix is sent to live with her aunt and cousin she finds a peculiar boy who knows who she is and what she can do.
Will Nix be able to save her and her friends or with the monster inside swallow her before she finally realizes who she is?
