Melanie O'Flannery and her friends; Dexter Tiberius, Benny Saun, Isaac Géroux, Chaol Nilsson, Ivan Kozlov, Jenny Lee, Grace Loger, Paris Kjellburg, and Piper Gekas have been placed in a secret facility. They don't know why or how they got there and they can't remember anyone who was in their life before being there. They can only remember each other.
Everyday they have to go through usually torturous and painful tests and experiments. And occasionally have to be hospitalized due to them.
They've had to go though this for 3 years until, a daughter of the leading scientist, Aradia Allaway finds a way to help them escape.

Based off a prompt on Tumblr: "I want a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities". Molly grew up as a fisherman's daughter in a village by the ocean, so naturally, it was a surprise to her and those around her when she acquired fire powers. Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world.
