Zoë is struggling with the fact that she can no longer do the things she used to. Her legs refuse to get better and her pride is wounded. She despises being taken care of and cannot hide her despair and anger. Artemis however refuses to give up on her recovery and braves Zoe's Gould mood at times believing that her dear friend will get better. 

Over the course of Zoë's rehabilitation Artemis recalls events of her past leading to the eventual companionship she has earned from Zoë. Artemis will learn things about herself she had forgotten and discover aspects of herself she did not know existed.All Rights Reserved
