"Hello. My name is Penelope Case. You may call me Ms. Case. I understand you have been causing some trouble in your classes and falling behind. I am here to help you with any troubles that happen here at school or at home. You are free to tell me anything. That is what I'm here for, to comfort you and send you on a better course."
I don't know how many times I've said this exact thing and have, almost grown, students respond with a curse. 'Bitch. Whore. You don't know anything.' Of course I don't freaking know anything! That is why you are here, dumbass.
So, I am a college councilor. Yes, we exist, just are not visited unless a teacher forces someone to meet with us. Like today, for example. In one day, I saw seven different boys who had the same problem, they screwed around in every class they were in together so much that their grades dropped and they will have to do another year in order to graduate.
And I was the lucky straw that got to be with ever single one of them for three hours a day. Yeah!......uh....

Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
