Moon Wish
When I was little, I believed in magic, the kind with an enchanted fairy godmother and the power of making wishes. These beliefs began to wither with every unanswered wish. They disappeared completely when I made my final wish, a moon wish. The black cloud that has followed me since that day has only gotten thicker and darker over the years; it's so dense that it is starting to obscure everything. I can't see the sky at all. It's been so long since I've seen any light, I've forgotten what it felt like to walk in it. Lost in the dark, an accident brings me a glimmer of it.
