Through a myriad of strange and terrible events, the Josephs adopted Samantha. But their fight to keep her didn't end there. A kidnapping, a near drowning, a new baby sister, a biological uncle who popped up and then a life threatening accident (or two) kept the family from knowing stability.
Finally, after so many trials and tribulations, it all seems to be finished. The Josephs are a family. Legally, and forever. Samantha is thriving and growing and becoming the person her late biological father seemed to want to destroy.
