He rubbed the back of his neck, "You keep surprising me, Greenie. It's... just history now." He played absentmindedly with his fingers. "Why do you ask? You uh... have a thing for her?" "Gally would happily filet me if I did." I joked. He laughed but didn't seem fully at ease. "No. I don't have a thing for her, she's a friend." He nodded, with a silent radiant of pleasure. I broke and asked him about her, "Is it really history? I mean... ever since I noticed you two together now I can't stop noticing it. She walks into a room and I feel like I have to remind you to breathe." He pulled a chair over and straddling the back of it. "You know when you're running through the maze and you're almost finished, you can see the glade and you have all this built up adrenaline? Second Book to Malevolent Maze "Teresa!" I sat upright after Thomas called out her name. Groggily, I sat up and rubbed my eyes before looking over at the bed opposite mine. She wasn't in her bed but I could see the light on in the bathroom. I could hear them trying to get into the room. I rolled my eyes and opened the door. "What the heck guys?" I grumbled, staring at the group of boys before me. Minho and Newt eyed me curiously. "Why are you trying to break into our room?" "Where's Teresa?" Thomas demanded. I thumbed behind me at the bathroom. "Over there. What's wrong with you." He slipped past me into the room. "He thought Teresa might be in trouble." Newt said, rolling his eyes.
