→Kaycee has been going in and out of the hospital with her worrisome sister that can only stare at her with pity. She never did like those stares so she tries to escape it as much as possible. 

She often went to the hill where you can see the big old tree.There, she met Parker, a boy who tries to keep it together even though his parents always fight and is in the verge of getting divorce. They met at an unusual way that became the start of a new friendship.

From being strangers to being friends, and from being friends to being something more, Parker thought that everything is finally a start of a happy love story.
