Fae, a junior girl who's never tried fitting in, and her best friend Parker, the socially awkward boy, have always been outcasts. Both plagued with dysfunctional families, they're surprised when two other juniors join them on the outside; April, a girl who would to almost anything to have things the way they were before and Rune, a new kid who wants to escape the world for a little bit.
