Driving home one night, I stared out the window to see the moon shining so bright and thought about writing something about it and well I may not be the best poet or writer but I hope you like what you read.

I turned to face her completely, holding her gaze. "They say the sun adored the moon so deeply that it surrendered itself each night, just to watch her glow."

Something big and heavy slammed into my side and sent me flying backwards. Open your eyes
all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.Complete
