Driving home one night, I stared out the window to see the moon shining so bright and thought about writing something about it and well I may not be the best poet or writer but I hope you like what you read.

Something big and heavy slammed into my side and sent me flying backwards. Confusion washed over me while i was hurled into the air, bounced over the tree and onto the floor with a disgusting snapping sound. My breath was yanked away from my lungs leaving me gasping for a painful breath.My whole side was numb and kept me paralyzed to the soft ground. My wolf slowly shifted us back into human form trying to ease the pain with the bliss shifting gave us both. Something dark passed over Leah and i, blocking the warm sun for just awhile. Sleep was already slithering its way to me. But before the dark slumber could grab ahold of me i felt a brush of fingers against my cheeks.And the best part that filled me with joy, was a trail of tingles it left behind.

I turn around for just a moment and catch a glimpse of his bright eyes in the light. The glow that surrounds him is undeniable. His blonde hair looks almost white at this time. He is artwork. Everything about him is just art... to me at least.

Have you ever looked at the moon? Not just at a passing glance or to admire how bright it is that night, but really looked? Have you ever wondered where the marks on it came from? How the mountains and valleys and craters appeared? Have you ever wondered why the moon is sometimes referred to as 'she' and not 'it'? I can answer all those questions for you and more. Because I am the moon. And this is my story.

**Alone and hopeless... Is that everything there is to me? Do I not deserve the prospect of a change? A change for good.** Those were thoughts that went through my mind when he crushed my body with unnatural strength against the tree. I felt the taste of blood on my tongue. My surroundings started to get blurry. My head was throbbing. I began to feel drowsy. i was walking down the road near the forest when i suddenly feel that it's hard to breathe.. i was panicking, i was nowhere near our house .. so i ran to the forest and closed my eyes from the excruciating pain .. and then i heard my bones crack .. when i opened my eyes i was with paws.. wait what? PAWS?!

who knew an extra terrestrial love between the sun and the moon could make someone's whole world, that it could make someone smile flowers and feel high on starlight?

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

"Have you ever come across that saying about the sun and the moon?" I asked. She shook her head, a small smile settling onto her lips. "No, I don't think so." I turned to face her completely, holding her gaze. "They say the sun adored the moon so deeply that it surrendered itself each night, just to watch her glow."

The air is cold around me, and I can't quite open my eyes. Frost seals them shut. I don't know where I am. I forgot everything. But Rain lashed against my skin...
