Their task is to set up a base on a supposedly habitable planet and prepare it for colonization. Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface. This planet supports life along with alien creatures who want the astronauts as they're next meal. 100 years into the future scientists discover a new planet that seems to support life. This planet has been named Discordia named for its unique appearance and odd looking structures. It was the first time mankind discovered we were not alone in the universe- these beings are nicknamed Discords and they crave human flesh and blood ... The astronauts are dying and no one can do anything to stop it. One survivor remains on Discordia. Shira is a 21 year old girl who is the youngest woman to become an astronaut who survived the alien attacks. But they aren't the only things Shira needs to worry about- Shira finds out that the surviving astronauts aren't who they say they are. On her mission to survive she meets a companion a bright blue creature that resembles a fox. Crescentia is an alien creature of Discordia who finds Shira fascinating and wants to help her escape with one condition... That Shira takes Crescentia with her. But Crescentia has to control her urges for human flesh before she does something she regrets. Can Shira and Crescentia escape this planet before they end up left for dead?
