"Andi, when will we go home?"

I cringe inwardly at the innocent tone in her voice. At eight years old, I doubt she'd even remember what our house looked like. I give her a reassuring smile, and lay one hand on her shoulder.

"Soon, Lauren. Very soon."

Fourteen-year-old Andi Layne and his siblings, Mark and Lauren, have been living in an underground bunker for the last seven years. Oblivious to the dangerous war raging above them, when Andi's little sister, Lauren, is taken by the enemy, the two brothers immediately charge after her without a second thought.
