One year after the events of Part VI, 19 year old Tommy Jarvis has found himself revisiting Camp Crystal Lake frequently, compelled by what lies there despite the emotional trauma that was inflicted upon him by Jason Voorhees. Tommy has found comfort in the cursed camp since his girlfriend Megan Garris passed away in a car accident after they had broken up.
